Why Kithora

A Space That Puts Your Family First

Led by Listening

Every session begins with understanding your family's situation before suggesting any next step.

Completely Impartial

We hold no preference for any outcome. Our role is to support clear thinking and calm communication.

Discreet & Respectful

Family matters are handled with care and confidentiality. We maintain a calm, non-judgemental environment throughout.

Education, Not Advice

Our programmes are structured learning experiences. We help you build skills and organise information — we do not advise on personal decisions.

Clear Referral Pointers

When matters fall outside our scope, we point you clearly towards the appropriate professional or official body — lawyers, financial planners, or support services.

Paced for Your Family

No rushing. Sessions move at a pace that suits each family. The multi-session programme in particular is designed for steady, unhurried progress.

Common Questions

Questions Families Often Ask

What exactly does Kithora do?
Kithora provides educational workshops and practical organisation sessions for families going through a period of change. We help family members practise respectful communication and arrange their everyday shared information more clearly. We are not counsellors, solicitors, or financial advisers — for those needs, we will always point you to the right professional.
Who are these sessions designed for?
Our sessions are open to adults in any family situation involving shared decisions, changing circumstances, or the need for clearer communication. Families are welcome to attend together or independently, depending on what feels right. We work with families from all backgrounds in Sabah and wider Malaysia.
Do I need all family members to attend?
Not necessarily. Some sessions are designed for individual attendance, while others work better with two or more family members present. We discuss this with you before booking to make sure the session is structured in a way that suits your situation.
How long does each programme take?
The Courtyard Conversations Workshop is a single session of approximately three to four hours. The Shared Information Organisation Session typically runs for one full day or two half-days. The Family Harmony Coordination Programme spans several weeks with scheduled sessions and check-ins, paced to suit your family.
What is the cost, and is there a commitment required?
Pricing starts from RM 600 for the Courtyard Conversations Workshop, RM 2,100 for the Shared Information Organisation Session, and RM 4,420 for the Family Harmony Coordination Programme. There is no ongoing commitment required beyond the session or programme you choose to book. You are welcome to ask questions and discuss your needs before deciding on anything.
Will my personal information stay private?
Yes. Everything shared with Kithora is treated with the highest discretion. We do not share your details with third parties outside of what is outlined in our Privacy Policy. You are also welcome to review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy on this website at any time.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions are held at our space in Jalan Gaya, Kota Kinabalu. We also consider arrangements that suit particular family needs — please get in touch to discuss what would work best for you.
